If you are interested in completing an international postdoc, Research in Germany or the DAAD both have a number of resources to help you get started, including resources for finding funding. The Max Planck Society also has a helpful page with information about moving to Germany.

Besides the resources listed above, there are many fellowships available for postdocs to do work internationally. A few examples are listed below; however, you may also find it beneficial to contact your host university or institution to find out more about funding opportunities.

The National Postdoc Association (NPA) offers a great number of career building tools and links to helpful sites and organizations. Specifically their self-assesment strategies are useful for scholars from all career levels.

In addition to fellowship and funding information, your host institution should also be able to give you more information on matters such as obtaining necessary visas, finding accommodation in Germany, and whether or not it is necessary to learn German for your stay.
