In the framework of a delegation visit from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (one of the UAS7 member universities), the DWIH New York, UAS7, and the Berlin Business Office USA organized an expert breakfast to discuss the startup scenes in Berlin and New York.

  • Marvin Göldner
    Marvin is the head of the start-up incubator Berlin. Here, Marvin is supporting and helping founders to launch their business. Marvin is an entrepreneur himself. His superpower is in the field of SaaS, social networks, fundraising and product development. Besides that, Marvin is very passionate about his Land Rover Defender. Join him for a ride.
  • Malte Prien
    When you look at the painting “The Wanderer above the sea of fog“ and you see yourself: idea about the horizon and a lot of fog between here and there. Then Malte is your company to conquer the fog. Malte is a business coach and consultant. He facilitates bespoke workshops and provides catered training for companies, teams, and individuals.
  • Ian Seltzer
    Ian Seltzer is an advisor in the esports vertical with a wide, global network and currently a Principal at Pierce Yates Ventures, where he has developed esports, media, entertainment, sports betting and Web3 verticals for early-stage investment. Previously, he led Content & Business Development for Rogue Sports, one of the top-ranked esports teams in the world. He has worked at Hulu, Vuguru (Michael Eisner’s digital studio), and Paramount Digital Entertainment covering content creation, licensing, distribution and digital marketing. While there he developed, licensed and launched 30 original titles for TV, film and the web in over 110 countries worldwide. Ian graduated with a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently earned an MS with Merit in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics with a research focus on monetizing streaming media content in the U.S.
  • Sebastian Serafin
    Sebastian is the Deputy Director of the Berlin Business Office, USA – representing the capital city-state of Germany in the USA, headquartered in New York. He successfully founded several startups, expanded with venture capital into the United States and led many international network initiatives.
