Climate Radicals: Why Our Environmental Politics Isn’t Working
Join us for a special conversation and reception to celebrate the publication of Climate Radicals by Cameron Abadi, deputy editor at Foreign Policy.
As politicians in Germany and the United States try to rally the public in support of ambitious climate policy—each in their own, very different ways—climate activists are expressing their desperation using ever more radical methods. This book reports on the West’s most embattled frontiers of climate politics from the frontlines of the climate activist movement in Germany to the legislative struggles in the halls of the U.S. Congress.
A Q&A and book signing will follow. Climate Radicals will be available for purchase at the event.
This event is free to attend, but registration is by invitation only. If you are working in environmental science, climate science, international relations, politics, or other related fields, and would like to attend, please send an email to info.newyork@dwih.org with your name and affiliation.
