Multilingualism & Education Diplomacy – Pathways to Educational Internationalization

Join us for an Interdisciplinary Workshop on Multilingual Education in cooperation with the University of Education Freiburg and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

At the Interdisciplinary Workshop on Multilingual Education, “Multilingualism & Education Diplomacy – Pathways to Educational Internationalization, researchers will explore different dimensions of educational internationalization.

As part of the agenda, Christian Strowa (Director of DWIH New York and Director of DAAD North America) and Dr. Jan Lüdert (Head of Programs at DWIH New York) will talk about Education Diplomacy in the United States, followed by a Q&A exploring educational internationalization in higher education between Europe and the USA.

Organized and chaired by Zeynep Kalkavan-Aydın (University of Education Freiburg), with academic leadership jointly provided by Zeynep Kalkavan-Aydın (University of Education Freiburg), Jeff MacSwan (University of Maryland, USA | College for Social Sciences and Humanities, UA Ruhr) and Katja F. Cantone Altıntaş (University of Duisburg-Essen).
