FES New York Office is seeking a full-time Policy Analyst

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung New York Office is seeking a dynamic and motivated Policy Analyst to join the team. This position involves conceptualizing and implementing international dialogue programs, conducting research and analysis, building and maintaining relationships with political stakeholders, and supervising, coordinating, delegating, and/or supporting logistical, operational, and communication details for individual projects.
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany with a rich tradition in social democracy dating back to its foundation in 1925. The foundation owes its formation and its mission to the political legacy of its namesake Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected President of Germany.
The office in New York serves as the liaison for FES offices worldwide with the United Nations (UN) in New York and the international financial institutions (International Monetary Fund and World Bank) in Washington, D.C. The office addresses peace, justice and economic issues, working closely with academia, civil society, multilateral institutions and their Member State governments to convene multi-stakeholder debates. The formats include international conferences, expert workshops and high-level meetings involving government representatives as well as published policy briefs and analytical studies.
