Best Paper Award for Country Report from Germany at the TRB Conference in Atlanta
From June 8-10, the TRB 7th International Conference on Roundabouts and Geometric Design took place in Atlanta, Georgia, with around 370 participants from over 20 countries. From Germany, Prof. Kerstin Lemke (University of Siegen), Dr. Marco Irzik (BASt) and Dr. Matthias Zimmermann (KIT) took part in the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Conference.
As head of WG 2 of the Road and Transportation Research Association (FGSV), Kerstin Lemke presented the Country Report for Germany, which was compiled in cooperation with Dr. Marco Irzik and Dr. Sven-Martin Nielsen (FGSV).
In addition, Marco Irzik presented new approaches to quality assurance for safety audits in Germany under the title “New Tools for better Road Safety Audits in Germany”.
The Country Report Germany received the Best Paper Award at the TRB Conference.
