TU Berlin is looking to address the challenges of “Industry 4.0” and discuss possible solutions in an international alumni training at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. Alumni of German institutions of higher education and research are welcome to apply by July 31, 2022.

To remain competitive in globalized markets and manage the increasing complexity of value chains, manufacturing companies rely on digitalization. This includes the integration of complex and interconnected embedded systems, leading to changes in how the different actors in the value chain interact and how products are designed and manufactured.

Despite the opportunities and competitive advantages arising from the introduction of “Industry 4.0”, the digital transformation also brings numerous challenges. TU Berlin’s Chair for Sustainable Corporate Development and the Alumni Program are looking to address these challenges and discuss possible solutions in an international alumni training on “Industry 4.0: State of the Art, Challenges and Opportunities”.

Dates: 31 October to 4 November 2022

The training will take place at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico and is targeted at alumni of German institutions of higher education and research residing in North, Central or South America.

The training is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
