Apply now to attend TU Berlin’s international alumni workshop on “Sustainable Food Cultures” taking place from 2 to 8 June 2024 at TU Berlin in Germany.

Food cultures still receive too little consideration in terms of making our food systems sustainable. Different places, times and groups have an impact on what we eat, how food is grown, processed, prepared and consumed. TU Berlin’s international alumni workshop on “Sustainable Food Cultures” is looking to explore foodways that serve a future-proof tomorrow (e.g. in terms of food security, food literacy, justice, just transition). The event is taking place from 2 to 8 June 2024 at Technische Universität Berlin, Germany. It is organized by TU Berlin’s Department of Didactics of Work Studies in cooperation with the Alumni Program.

The workshop is targeted at alumni of German institutions of higher education and/or research who reside outside Germany. For details about the workshop program, funding and the opportunity to apply please refer to: https://www.tu.berlin/go244624/

The application deadline is 31 January 2024.

The workshop is subject to support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Federal Foreign Office (AA).
