Prof. Felix Naumann, head of the “Information Systems” department at Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), is the new editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Data and Information Quality” (JDIQ). The HPI talked to him about his work as editor-in-chief and the focus of the journal.

The renowned scientific journal of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) was founded in 2009 and is the world’s first high-quality scientific journal on the subject of data quality. It aims to make a significant and novel contribution to the field of data and information quality, with article topics ranging from quality assessment to data cleaning, and to the technical, legal and ethical impact of poor data quality on today’s systems and society. As its new editor-in-chief, Prof. Naumann looks forward to growing the data quality community by publishing high-quality papers within its scope.
