Analyzing Deep-Sea Images with AI
Professor Dr. Tim Nattkemper of Bielefeld University’s Faculty of Engineering has been working on AI-based platforms for analyzing underwater images for more than 15 years. The university is one of 19 partners in the ongoing EU BioProtect project, which aims to improve the protection and restoration of biodiversity in European seas.
