Since 1996, the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. New York (GACC) has been sponsoring the J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa for students, apprentices and young professionals to visit the US and successfully participate in internship programs.

DAAD Provides Annual Scholarship Funding to Eight Students from the Global South of the Master in Environmental Governance
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will fund the M.Sc. Environmental Governance program at the University of Freiburg with a total of 1.6 million euros from 2025 to 2032. This is the third, eight-year funding period for the course in the DAAD program “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses” (EPOS).
